WHY I CHOSE SSOC

My day to day

What I love most about working at School of Sociability is watching kids come out of their shell. There's a moment that happens with almost every student, somewhere in the middle of the semester, where something just clicks. They walk into a session a little more confident than the week before, they initiate a conversation without thinking twice about it, and you can just see it on their face. Getting to be part of that process every day is what keeps me here.

Outside of SSOC, I try to stay as active as possible. Most mornings you'll find me at the gym, and on weekends I love getting out for a hike somewhere in the North Shore mountains. I'm a huge coffee shop person, always on the hunt for the best latte in Vancouver, and when I'm not doing that, I'm usually reading, trying a new restaurant, or exploring a neighbourhood I haven't spent much time in. Brunch is basically a religion for me at this point.

  • "Hannah made the entire process so easy from the very first call. She took the time to understand exactly where my son was at and made us both feel completely at ease. I knew we were in the right place"

    — Bruce Springsteen

  • "From our very first discovery session, Hannah was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my daughter's growth. She answered every question I had and made the enrollment process completely stress-free."

    — Katie Bishop
