Our Approach

The ABC Method

A simple, supportive framework for building social confidence.

Our ABC Method helps kids and teens turn social understanding into practical skills they can use in everyday life. Through Awareness, Building and Connection, students learn to understand social situations, practise new skills and apply them with greater confidence in the real world.

A - Awareness

Understand yourself, others and the social situation.

C - Connect

Apply those skills in everyday life to build confidence and meaningful relationships.

B - Build

Learn and practise specific social skills with structure, encouragement and repetition.

Awareness

Reading social cues, noticing patterns and understanding situations.

How the ABC Method Works

How the ABC Method Works

We start by helping young people understand themselves, others and the social situations around them. Next, they build practical skills through personalized coaching and guided practice. Finally, they apply those skills to real conversations, friendships and everyday situations.

How the ABC Method & STARS work together

Our ABC Method guides how we teach. STARS guides what we teach.

ABC provides the learning process; STARS provides the social skills we focus on. Together, they create a clear path: understand what's happening, learn and practise specific skills, then apply those skills to real conversations, relationships and everyday situations.

What We Practice
